Back at the beginning of November, I entered a giveaway on Instagram for a 2-day free getaway to a tiny house that had just opened. I’ve entered a lot of giveaways, but I actually won this one!!! I was shocked in the best way possible!
We got it booked for mid-December & we couldn’t be more excited!! So, I want to share our getaway adventures with you.
The tiny house is located in Mondovi, Wisconsin in the middle of no where. It’s hidden behind so many trees. The fresh snow made it extremely cozy! It’s super private.
The owners are very intentional with what they have available for you- everything needed to make a fire, games, coloring book, puzzle, books, silverware, plates, mini fridge, waters, coffee & hot cocoa Keurig pods, etc. You can tell a lot of intention was put into it all. It feels just like home- so cozy!!
There are floor to ceiling windows that surround where you sleep. Waking up to the most beautiful snow covered trees all around is just breathtaking. We went out to eat, cozied up to new books with a fire outside, played Yahtzee while our daughter laid next to us, and enjoyed being in nature.
