Almost everyday, I try to leave the house at least once with my kids. Usually in the car, I’m usually doing one of three things… catching up with friends on Marco Polo, calling my mom, or listening to music.
It can’t just be me who gets in ruts with music and just needs something new. So, I thought today I’d share with you some songs I’ve been recently loving that are clean and you can play in front of your kids without only having to play “kid songs” when they’re in the car.
Now, I listen to a wide variety of music. I am a Christian, but it doesn’t mean I only listen to Christian songs. Here’s a taste into some of that variety.
Home by Hollow Coves
I just recently heard of this artist and I’m currently listening to this whole album for the first time while writing this to see if I can find even more I love by them. So far, this album is fantastic!
Prodigal by River Valley Ages
I mentioned this in another post lately, but the words just get me. So good.
8 Letters by Why Don’t We
This is just one of those upbeat songs I jam to in the car. It definitely gives boy band vibes lol.
Here For You by Peter Fenn
I had never heard of this artist until this song came on in the Lany Radio one day while I was working at a coffee shop & I love it!
Far Away by Peter Fenn
This is also one I found by Peter Fenn through the Lany radio. I still know nothing about this artist LOL.
Echo Holy – In Studio by Red Rocks Worship
This is a Christian song that is just such a good upbeat one that’s super easy to get into.
Pure by Abby Gamboa, UPPEROOM
This entire album is sooooo good and refreshing. I wish all Christian music was as pure and simple as this. Give this entire album a listen right now; you won’t regret it.
Seeds by Yoke Lore
This is one of those pretty background songs. Love songs like this!
Ceilings by Lizzy McAlphine
This song was a super trendy reels sound and I actually decided to listen to the full song & it’s super pretty.
Beautiful (Hidden Worlds) by River Valley Ages
This is another one I heard at the River Valley Conference a couple weeks ago.
What songs are you currently into?
