I really got into reading in 2023. I think it’s a great way to rewind without using technology. My husband and I read almost every night in bed before we turn off the lights. In 2023, I read 30 books! I’m hoping for 35+ this next year!

I need to grow my list of books to read this year (so drop any book recs in the comments), but I would like to share a few I’ve heard good things about that I want to read this coming year:

The Whole and Healthy Family: Helping Your Kids Thrive in Mind, Body, and Spirit by Jodi Mockabee

Habits of the Household: Practicing the Story of God in Everyday Family Rhythms by Justin Whitmel Earley

The Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose

Goodbye, Things: The New Japanese Minimalism by Fumio Sasaki

Raising Grateful Kids in an Entitled World: How One Family Learned That Saying No Can Lead to Life’s Biggest Yes by Kristen Welch

Hands Free Mama: A Guide to Putting Down the Phone, Burning the To-Do List, and Letting Go of Perfection to Grasp What Really Matters! By Rachel Macy Stafford

Run on Red by Noelle Ihli

M Is For Mama: A Rebellion Against Mediocre Motherhood by Abbie Halberstadt

Sacred Marriage: What If God Designed Marriage to Make Us Holy More Than to Make Us Happy? By Gary L. Thomas

Sometimes I Lie by Alice Feeney

Those are 10 books I would like to read this coming year. I currently feel inspired by some more non-fiction. I read a lot of fiction in 2023. Maybe 2024 will be the year of more parenting, family, & motherhood books.

Tia Marie 🙂
